Heading for Summer 2008

» DJ-DSS 05/15/08 18:48:28 » comments: 0

DJ-DSS Towards the end of spring I felt the need for more of an expirience than DJing alone, with the introduction of new technology and software widley availble mainstream now it seemed a logical progression to also explore what was being used aswell as the well worn 1210's......

This meant a new enthusiasm, and joint ventures with some of the more expirienced memebers of the scene, in both production and collaboration using ; Abelton, Reason, & Tracktor...

Keeping it really simple I DJ & now produce and use abelton. Rather than sell myself decide for yourselves, Grab a Download, Check a Video, Net-Broadcast, or Event, or drop me a message if you'd like a CD...

Untill I begin the uploads, please refer to the links below to get a CD.

Rap Is C**P (I'd Rather Work in Tescos)

» Blue Jukebox 05/13/08 08:44:51  » New Music Added » comments: 0

Jack Claridge Rap isn't really c**p it's just rap done by white folks trying to be black - that justn't doesn't work and it is - in my opinion - just a bit of a conceit. The whole essence of rap is its humble beginnings as an ethnic pastime that managed to make it into the mainstream and with that said it is not an excuse for white middle class privately educated men to try and get in touch with their 'roots'.

I wrote this rap (use the term loosely) as a mickey take on all of those who think that because they're in the music business they can try their hand to things they clearly can't do. My rap is not intended to be serious so please don't take it as such - sit back, crack open a beer and bask in the unadulterated silliness.

Enjoy

Jack

Here We Go Again

Jack Claridge Hi all and welcome to my renewed MP3artists page. It's been a while since I did anything on here but have decided to give it another try and see how things go.

I hope you like the music here and please feel free to leave some comments (nice ones always welcome, not so nice ones never refused).

Since I was last on this site I've gone back to writing novels as well and have since had my first published with two more in the proofing stages and more in the works. I have to be creative otherwise I get bored very easily so if it's not music it's the written word.

For information on my first novel check out www.amazon.co.uk/www.amazon.com and enter HAZARD WARNING in the search box.

Catch you soon

Jack
